Cheap Tablet anyone?

Sounds like a good spec for the price, if anyone has been interested in getting a tablet.

Yeah, the 10.1 Galaxy Tab is great  Super thin, light weight and so much better to hold than the Motorola XOOM which I CBA with now, the XOOM's only saving grace is it's ports (USB, SD CARD slot, SIM Slot, HDMI out etc) without needing an adapter for each of those, just use standard cables!

My daughters cheap tablet isn't too bad for her and she loves it, it's a 7" Scroll jobbie which has a faster brother that does 3D out too.

Not sure where I've seen it, but there is a plug in device onto a USB 3.0 that can convert it into a HMDI port would be handy?

You'd need the devices to have USB3 for that to work, you're lucky if a £500 laptop has a USB3   But would work well as a port condenser to minimize junk.

Most phones do, but they don't cost £100 straight off, and don't have 7" screens

For £99 it punches well above it's weight I'd say.  If I dind't already own an iPad 2 I'd probably take a good look into this one.
