lewisham and woolwich are also sh1tholes.

I'd say they are better than croydon  Plus greenwich has a hell lot of history, the arsenal, arsenal football club  the thames tunnels, maritime musuem/college, palaces, observatory's etc... Croydan has offices, trams, palm trees and adele

I'm with Alex
Gooners definitly deeper sh!t whole than Croydon then....

ummm at what point did arsenal football ground move into the borough of greenwich?!!!!

They are originally from woolwich, till they moved and dropped the woolwich name.

Arsenal was founded in 1886 in Woolwich and in 1893 became the first club from the south of England to join the Football League.

I still say Lewisham is better than croydon, however croydon does has palm trees

Lewisham is one of the worst places in London. I worked in the Tesco there for a while. The security guard turn over was silly due to injury. They ot paid loads to work there.

I would go as far to say its one of the worst places in the country. Would pick hackney over lewisham all day long!

*edit. In London, not Croydon

Croydonia rocks, yeah its a bit ruff in places like Addo and Forny heath but you cant knock it for a good night out or for the fights outside Tiger Tiger.
Its only viewed as a sh!thole becuase it does not have Victorian housing like Lambeth or Southwark which is full of Arty farty types and other usless Lib Dems who think it is cosmopolitan.
I would rather live in Royden than Walworth or New cross as the hoodies there are top draw knuckle draggers and not kids who go to Wilsons or Whitgift and pretend to be Street...

I was born in SW9 and lived in SE5 amongst other choice postcodes, Croydon would be spared the Napalm as it does have some redeeming features although it is in the sh1t ripple I call london.
When I am king the M25 will become a wall like Escape from New York, Maybe South Croydon could be one of the gates

Should be SWINDON!

At least we have a Magic Roundabout!

Swindon is a blot of the landscape  the only thing magic about the roundabouts were the mushrooms in the designers tea

I take it you take a different drug everyday, so which one can you kindly admit you have taken today that you shot round the corner in croydon

Lambeths sh!t, we have a lot of guys that use to work one way or another in Lambeth ie, bailiffs, court staff, council staff and all I can say is Lambeth council are utter rubbish. Southwark has some nice parts but now days shortditch is moving up the ladder as well compared to what it use to be.
