Ah...I'm going blind with old age. Turbo wise the money for hybrid or k04 setup is pointless in my eyes, tiny snails. You can get a t3/4 kit for LCR, golf etc for 750. Sell bits like IC that you won't need, sell old manifold etc... so you will regain some money. The turbos I've heard mixed reviews some say they are spot on other say they had issues after a few thousand, with the money of selling bits you don't need you could use that to get turbo checked/rebuilt/serviced. At least then you will have 350bhp at 1bar and more if you want more power as boost goes up. All depends what your after could always limit the map so that turbo will work on stock rods, it all depends what you want.

Update
Long time no see, Almost forgot about the project thread its been that long
. Genuinely dont know where the times goes.
Not much of an update but Just thought id keep you in the picture.
Well, Ive just finished my first 3 week block at college and have been doing alot of miles, 500+ miles per weekend and she ran spot on. No hic ups what so ever and returned what id call good mpg aswell
But bless her, with it being this time of year and the gritters out on full hull she has over 1000 miles worth of grime on her and I simply havent had time up till now to give her tlc
.
Before and after
and so the tlc begins
Before and after, she still shines
Daily Dubs.
R-tech'd Just to warn other motorists what there up against
I have also required a New blower, as In the new year I will be taking another trip down to Nikki at R-tech to unleash some more power
roll on 260bhp 300lb-fts
Genuine low mileage Borgwarner with no cracks
Im also going to treat myself to a new set of wheels in the new year. What are people opionions on these
But more of a copper/brown without the polished lip
Or these
What are peoples opinions
?
