I'm new to this forum but familiar with the dynamics
. I'm 21 years old and got my first VW in July 2011, a gorgeous, impeccably looked after, 1.4 flash red mk3 Golf SE. No, it's not a GTi, but it has the bodykit of one so that's enough for me. Anyway, photos...
Day I bought it:
Looks pretty bland there to me!
Bit of tweaking here and there....and now looks like this:
The mk4 belongs to my housemate, who also took the pictures since he has a quality camera!
'Mods' so far: Added gti spoiler to finish off the rest of the gti trim
Professionally colour coded mirror caps
Changed alloys from the 13" standard 'Sport Rader' ones to some 14" 'Smiths' alloys. They look better at least, but ultimate aim is
some 16" BBS reps.
Satin black front reflector and blank to blend in with trim better
Anniversary style red pinstripe added to front and back bumper groove
Future plans:I already have coilovers, just waiting for the snow/poor weather to pass before fitting them, dont want to be a plough!
16" BBS reps, something with a bit of dish, but that won't be till after easter in time for summer!
Far far future....possible engine transplant. The 1.4 is.....well it 'gets me from A to B' shall we say.
Legal pressed plates + Autohaus Wolfsburg surrounds coming soon.
