r-tech question? porting exhaust manifold pre remap

hay nick just a quick question are you able to explain what needs doing to the exhaust manifold in detail for porting for a k04-001 upgrade before the remap?

The collector needs cutting down by around 45% and the runner on number 3 needs to be enlarged.  You just want to make it flow better and get rid of all the sharp edges ect...

Looks like ill whip my manifold off and port all the runners.  How far can you safely go?

I dunno.... :laugh:

Its a case of good judgement...........  so I took sh@t loads of mine and it held up fine for 300bhp and closer to 400bhp with NOS and no nasty cracks..

Out with the dremel then!  Shame theres no reliable free flowing one for k03* :(

Plenty more planned and i dont even have a car yet! haha

my best crack free manifold is on my car so im going to have to pop it off at some point. hoping i can try and get it off with out having to drop to much off the bottom of the turbo to get it low enough to get to the bottom manifold bolts
