In my mk4 I have a separate fusebox I bought which is in the sidecover on the dash (passenger side), direct 12v runs to it from batter and I use the metal dash brackets as ground. All wires are on 6.3/6.1mm spade crimps to the fusebox making things nice and simple.

your missing the point, he doesnt have the cable in the back of the stereo...

In that case, buy an iso plug and chop it if need be to your needs?

Yeah, iv bought an ISO cable for it.
Working an absolute treat!!

Just concerned about taking a huge 12v battery to a festival now.... Which i hadnt contemplated being a problem... But now i think about it....  :laugh: :rolleyes:
