Lambda (can i run without) AGU

as above, cant get my lamda out of my downpipe for now, can i still run without the sensor for a bit, what would the outcome be, poor MPG etc

Hit the flange where the lambda bolts into exhaust with a hammer HARD.  Dont hit the sensor tho.....guarentee itll come ut then ;)

thanks guys, ended up taking it to a garage and got it took out for a £1 lol , exhaust is now on, just needa clamp ;)
