« on: 07 February 2012, 22:09 »
Thinking of going away for a few nights with the missus. Any recommendations?

Looking at Paris or Brussels at the minute but very open to ideas.

The following are ruled out though..

Amsterdam
Prague
London
Italy (Her, not me)

I travel alot with my work and if I was going to take my lady on a trip weekend away
I would choose either Barcelona,Budapest or Berlin, 3 great city's that have lots to see for a couple
And shouldn't be overly expensive,Barcelona is prob best saved for summer as its quiet in winter if I'm honest, defiantly steer clear of Prague,it is an amazing place but it's stag do central and one thats best experienced with the lads.
Hope this helps.

Always wanted to go to berlin. Paris is a truley fantastic city but its a shame its full of french people, I don't mean that in a 'al murrary' way either, Parisians are just dicks. Kovenhavn was quite nice and not quite as expensive as you would imagine. Then you can take your pick of the old easten block countries, most have nice capitals.

The entire world is a Money Pit, you just have to pick yours.
