Steering rack question

Hi all,

Can anybody tell me if a steering rack from a seat Leon cupra fr would fit a 1.8t golf (agu)

from a mk1 leon cupra r it will yes..... you'd need to take the track rods/end off your rack and swap them over.

It's not a cupra R its a cupra fr :wink: getting it for £80 so hope it fits  :grin:

lol ok, didnt even know there was a cupra fr? I had a new shape diesel fr 170 but not sure about the older shape and its varients other than cupra and cupra r.

if it does fit then its not a quickrack.

Sounds like the new shape / mk2 in which case I don't think it will fit also might be worth checking if it is any better ratio than standard.

Only the TT / LCR and S3 had the quicker rack as standard.
