« on: 07 February 2012, 13:02 »
Can anybody tell me where i can get a fuel filter with compensation tank After 4years of building it's the only thing stopping my MOT this is the filter that sits on the side of the petrol tank my one has got a little crack in it DESPERATE PLEASE HELP
It's a 1986 1.8 gti in alpine white with the white hood and lasky white interior also known as a Christmas special which is really ironic because some idiot drove straight off the road up my drive into the back of it on Christmas day at 4am  and wrote it off
little up date I'm back on the road managed to dremal out along the crack and araldited it this should hold for a while until the new one comes from the states thanks  all I need now is the sun roll on the summer

They got dropped by VW last year, so you may be lucky if they have one knocking about.
Make sure you ask them to do a dealer search.
If not 2nd hand from a breaker or E Bay perhaps?
