Just thought i would give a heads up on the classifides as it looks like this forum is still one of the few where anyone can post a for sale thread.

Just been on edition 38 and they have clamped down HARD on their classifide area, so the worrying news is that people who want to scam may now come around here more often then we want 

Hopefully not, as the vast moajoirty of people who i have dealt with have been fantastic.

But just a heads up as i know both editon and ukmkivs have post limits etc, not saying this thread needs it as i feel it works well and sometimes common sense needs to come into play

yeah i noticed this the other day, i like the rule they have that if a ad is made with out a pic with your name in then it will simply be locked and the thread text changed into the sales rules.

seems a good way to clamp down on people selling stuff with no pics/proof and also a good way to make everyone aware of the rules.


but as said ive never been scammed on here so this place seems oryt at the moment, will just have to see if more people come over here now edition is clamping down.

Ye good idea but seems like the majority of the threads have been locked without people knowing which is a bit out of order.
Not too fussed tbh as I still think tho forum is one of the easiest and  let simplistic forums I've been on so tend to just stick with this

Just on a look out for a couple of things so gotta make sure I don't rush into anything now from "new members"

Parts of that forum are great, there's some good people on their and some very impressive cars, but damn do the admins like to throw their toys out of the pram a lot!

i started a thread about that and hoping all the people dont come over here and start moaing or more improtantly all the scammers who wont be able to post on there come over to this forum 

but ye agree they went from one extreme to the other
