they were based just up the road from me.. in stoke on trent!

and then they moved to manchester!

they did a mk 2 with a turbo engine in it!
jim cotton in his mk2 golf with audi A3 floor pan.......and by the looks of it... bad tilting!

i saw this going down the A34... he welded in an audi A3 floor pan!
and was featured in revs mag! he's also had a pink mk 1 gti which he featured in some old mags...

either revs or max power...

this was taken from website

My only experience of Awesome GTi are their own brand white dials which are now peeling off!!  However, they were on the car when i bought it so they could have been badly fitted or been on for years so from my experience the jury is out!

they're in the process of moving premises so things could quite possibly be delayed .. never used them myself but they imported and maintained my car for the last 8 years (aswell as mods and shiney bits added) so cant be all bad.

i ordered some bumper intakes for my car from awesome gti, delivered fairly quickly but only one fitted the other side does not fit because the towing eye bracket is in the way.

I informed them off this, and all they could say was i had the towing eye screwed in!!!!

Erm NO I DONT... but thats all they kept saying to me!

Used them a couple of times and they've been ok, got some side repeaters off them and the quality wasn't great but they said I could send them back. I think they are a bit pricey though and their website doesn't include VAT so you can easily get misled about the price.  :undecided:
......now officially dubless.

Sugar79 i remember that, did you ever resolve that ? i've looked at numerous mk4's and they all seem to have plenty of clearance there, did you get around to taking the bumper off to see any signs of previous accident damage ?

na, never got resolved toph, i havent taken the bumper off, actually havent a clue how to get it off, i'll prob only break something or wont be able to get it back on lol.

I ve had a look round, the bumper lines up with the cars body, inside the engine bay looks sound, its hpi clear n with all the paperwork i got with the car i cant see anything about crash damage, although it did have alot of replacement windscreens!!!
