Just got the taster blu-ray of ST:TNG on blu-ray and it looks amazing. The details is awesome.

this sounds like a good thing for tng as it is nearly 25 years since it first came out   :shocked:

and the cgi on sd tv looks a bit shady    :sad:

bluray is the way to go ..............but  cannot wait for the 3D box set  :cool:

all over it! Can anyone answer me this, way back when i heard that there was a spin off of the original st called excelsior, is it true or bullcrap?

i think they were considering spinning off excelsior with capt sulu at the helm but they decided not to and made the dreadful Enterprise instead  :sick:

I remember watching this when I was younger. Had to watch it whilst waiting to go martial arts training. Didn't like it but slowly it grew on me. Data was always my fave but could never figure out why he just didn't do everything. He could probably interface himself with the ship's computer and just run the whole thing automatically, selecting the best weapon or manouvring tactic etc.

sweet, we only just finished watching TNG (again) last week, TNG in full HD would rock, now if only I had a BR player :grin:

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
