Pcv fault

Recently I've been having problems with poor mpg, my suspects are the PVC system, I've checked by starting the car and taking the dipstick out but the car remained the same, no rough idle etc should I get my Pcv changed? Also worth saying I have the bag Pcv revamp

Put the OEM one back on and ditch the BSF if thats what you mean for Bag in your post :huh:

Hi yes sorry that's what I meant BSH revamp, why should I ditch that are there any faults on that system?

You've removed the PCV if you've got the BSH kit fitted so there's nothing to really fail in that area? Have you got a blocked air and/or fuel filter.

It is common for fuel economy to drop in the winter months, often by as much as 10%.

Ok other then the Pcv, how do I know I I have a blocked air filter, I have a evoms intake, can a fuel filter affect the mpg?

No it wont.
Using your ancillaries, ie aircon, heated seats, blowers will in this colder weather give you a big loss in fuel consumption. I dont know what your achieving but if its anywhere near 25mpg, id say thats normal!
