noticed when i changed my MAF im now getting better mpg
, before hand it used to average around 30 mpg on a short run, after i changed my maf im now getting up to 40 mpg
, any1 else had this, is there other ways off improving fuel economy

no way, on a AGU. I get 36 mpg on motor way and 18-22mpg short beer run.
I need a new maf.

AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

seriously m8, was a bit surprised myself, although i tink its dropped again to about 36 when i was out earlier, that was a kinda medium run id say

I would love a new one. Iv never seen 40mpg in 5 years of owning it. Dont think i will ever see it .

i got 34 mpg last night done 20 miles at 20mph on the m40 in the snow :embarassed:
i never really get more than 32mpg on long run at 70mph
and reads 28mpg mix driving round town dam thirsty agu lol

had it up again today, was only out in the morning so i assumed that had the engine warmed up when i took it out inthe afternoon. managed to snap a pic
