DROPPING ON TO THREE CYLINDERS
« on: 02 February 2012, 20:46 »
as per title really. When normal driving (ie not booting it)my AGG starts to run rough and bellows loads of grey smoke out of exhaust. If I put my foot down it clears and runs fine.I have noticed the number 1 plug is completley soaked with petrol.Any ideas whats causing it to do this as it's really annoying .Although on a plus side I picked up my AGU engine this week,so best get rest of bits for conversion

Get the car scanned for faults but a guess at this stage would be that its possible that there's no spark igniting the fuel - so either the plug is faulty/lead/dizzy etc or you could have an injector staying on, either due to ECU, shorting wiring or the injector itself.
Scan it first and hopefully that might give you a good indication as to what to work with
