Need a bit of help - APY revo stage 2

I have a mate who has a S3.  He bought a stage 2 revo ECU for it, same part number same everything.

Now running the ECU he has a lot of overboost/surging from the ecu. 

We have tried all new sensors, maf, coils, etc

At 3/4 throttle, the car is dumping off with the dump valve opening and dropping boost.  N249 is bypassed and direct feed from inlet to DV.  With the vacuum pipe connected, we see 200g/s air flow....with it DISCONNECTED, the car runs smooth, but only pulls 143g/s

Has anyone got any ideas why this is?

Are you sure its Revo dude?  In most cases when you plug it in the car the map will need to be switched on via the Revo SPS tool.

Do logs of blocks 20 114 115 and email me them.

He says it revo.  Apparently a stage 2 map, but his car is near enough standard...uprated DV on it.  I cant see it making a difference though.

Switching a map on...thats a new one to me.

Revo maps have extra code added to the end for the file which hold some fancy sh@t...lol  You can buy a Revo sps switch and adjust the boost/load Timing and fuel buy plugging in the obd ports and twisting knobs...lol

If the stage 2 is too much, this it can be turned down to a safe limit.

Hi there,i firgured it would be best for me to register,im James Chris's mate with the fecked S3 

Ive done some logging today,with the blocks requested but unsure if they are what needed as the blocks differ from early S3 like mine to later ones,so i had done a couple more with some other blocks for you to look at and see if you can make scene of it all ...

The diverter valve had two springs ,standard and uprated one,both make little to no difference at all.

Right im stumped...how do you load word files on here?

My mate has a sps3 for his stage two audi s3(my old car) but wont be back for a few weeks,the map is working,its defo quicker than before just this mid throttle surging ...

this is the only method besides e mail i can get you lot to see the logs...its a arse soz
