mk1 fuel pump casing

hi

does anybody know where I could buy the metal bracket that encases the fuel pump on a mk1 GTI? (part number 171 201 761 B). these items seems incredebly hard to find  :sad:

You just missed out on one on ebay although it went for £102!! It was a brand new genuine VAG casing/bracket which is now obslete.

However, check out MK1 Golf owners club forum. From memory, member 'tubrotechnics' is looking to re-manufacture them.
