If you just want a picture like mine, just re-size one down from your photobucket account, then copy and paste the image link in the same way that you would posting a picture into a thread.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Thats ok similar to mine but I think the username does cover your wheels a bit plus you could add your basic car spec as most GTI/GTD users do or even a sunny pic (when it comes out) as some Golf colours can be dark.

I kind of prefer the darker tint to his picture... looks mean and moody

Agree though that you're name obscures your wheels. Perhaps make it smaller and move it down and to the right more?

Showing my age and lack of interest in computers here, but how do you get the writing on the sig pic? Not that I have a pic to use as my sig...

Maybe I'll just shut up.

Well the easiest way without Photoshop is Paint. Now it depends on the file type your picture is but Paint will open bmp, jpg, gif. I think the newer Windows will open png and tif.

Open Paint and find your picture. Then click on the A button in the toolbar to add text and draw it on your picture where you want it. Select the font and size you want to use. You can select the colour you want to use in the coloured boxes. Make sure its transparent then type in you username the Save As the file, as something else so it doesn't everwrite the original.

Job done.

Sorry gtdguy I think that picture looks worse then the other one colour wise even though the username doesn't cover the wheels.
