Vdo gauges in my vr mk2

Right then bought my self some of these



My question is I've read a few wiring guides now and am I right in saying I need a 150psi sender ? For the vr6 ??
Also anyone got any links

Mate, go to bigboystoys  and just ask them for their normal VDO sender. Its a twin pole so removes the need for a T piece. Its a bit pricey but I have been using it for 2 years solid and its been great.

The one that I got replaced the low pressure sender (the blue one)

Ok cool it's 40 odd quid that's no drama do I need an oil temp one or do I use the one that's already on there ?? And just remove the oil pressure one that's in there already ??

Thats it, I remember paying about £40 too. You can use the one thats already on there, but it wont be calibrated to those dials as such. Thats how my set up works and its been fine. It might not read 100% accurate on the dials, but I know where the needle sits normally, so if it raises any higher than that, I know I need to be weary of the temps.

You can get a VDO temp sender from them too but it sits in replacement of the sump plug. I think id rather know the temps of the oil in the filter housing since that should give me a reading of oil temps coming out of the block
