turbo timer and boost gauge

hi im thinking of fitting both in my golf is it hard to do or best leave to the pro's

Timer not worth doing for lots of reasons.

As Rich said turbo timer not worth it, boost gauge is easy to fit.

turbo timer never had any experience with so wouldnt have a clue

why not its not for performance gains just want to keep my turbo in good condition by letting it cool down properly

Just drive the last mile off boost, much easier

The boost gauge isn't too tough, just plan what you are going to do first...I managed it  :smiley:...albeit with a snapped scuttle panel but its there!

have HKS turbo timer.. only turn it on when ive been having a really spirited sprint and then stop and it does its own thing and cuts out when cool enough..
Mk4 Golf GTI anniversary and mk6 golf tdi :)

I think the main issue with getting it to work on a mk4 is the immob.

had this on 1 of my turbo golfs aswell an couldnt lock the doors till car switched off or i just turned turbo timer off  :shocked:
