They said they always put the adaptors back, so doubt they would have forgotten to return it.

Mentioned that it definitely isn't there since Friday.  He said to come in and they'll check the car.  Then have a look around the workshop.  I can't get down there until the weekend though, working 8am - 7pm all week now.

Better to go in really.  When they can't find it in the car, then subsequently can't find it in the workshop, I'll ask them how they expect me to get my wheels off given the adaptor is discontinued, and the last people to have it was them.

eBay bolts and adaptor arrived.  Sadly a completely different shape, and much bigger than the adaptor I had before.

Or just use an 18mm socket 

The 18mm socket is actually smaller than the locking wheel bolts on the car.  Unsure how it could ever get the locking bolt off?

Its smaller - hammer it on and undo! Takes a couple minutes only. Makes you wonder why you ever had locking nuts in the first place!

It's too big to fit over the nut, but too big to fit inside the bolt
