Have one in my Raddo KR. Was supplied and fitted at TSR in Bridgewater in 2008. Still holding up well now. Its a little juddery at initial gear changes, but not too bad tbh. If you double clutch sort of thing, so keep your foot on accelerator for a second after putting the clutch pedal down to raise the revs slightly, its fine. Not really worth it though unless you really cant stand it, as its not really that bad.

I’ve only got oem at the minute and its on its legs so trying to find one before it goes. As long as it’s not as it’s not as bad as a race clutch I think will be happy.

I’ve looked at TSR and they don’t seem to list them. In any event it’s a bit of a mission getting down there for me.

Do you know if anyone sells them online?

Cheers for the info. I have contacted Andrew AVG who has advised that there is only one supplier in the UK now

http://www.racepads.co.uk/index.htm

It also looks like it is going to be a costly way of working as you have to purchase in parts separately. The pressure plate alone is over £200.

Can anyone recommend an updated clutch? What about black

 thats one hell of a price, what are you running to warrant the uprated clutch?

Do you mean avs? Vwspares.co.uk? I've had an 020 sachs + 02a vr6 sachs from them in the last year or so..?

What are you running power wise, a standard sachs clutch should be fine unless you have bonkers power / torque.

AVS still sell the standard clutch but not the performance one.

I’m not running a massive amount of power at the minute but looking to undertake a turbo conversion in the summer which would warrant an up rated clutch.

Unfortunately I can’t see my current clutch lasting that long so need to replace it now.

Do an 02a, cable change, and hydro vr6 clutch conversion using a sachs item. Will be future proofed
