Do TG/BBC just use soundtracks all the time? For a few seasons they used the Fight Club soundtrack and this season (and I think the last one too) they used the Tron Legacy soundtrack.

Why's that? They're great to drive. Designed and engineered in Britain. Good looking and taking the btcc by storm this year too.

I dont see why people are so critical of them, is its because they are Chinese owned now?

Great to drive? - Compared to what?
Designed and engineered in Britain? - We have historically been shiit at building cars.
Good looking? - Looks are subjective.
BTTC? - Don't expect the 888 prepared cars to be anything like the road cars.

As they said on TG last night, to two "new" models are based on cars that are over 10 years old. The game has moved on since then. A lot.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I was pretty amused by last nights antics. I now have a tad more respect for American racing, Matt Le Friends has gone up in my estimation, and Im now sure i dont want to live in China. Some of the Jeremy's comments about their safety tests, regulations etc were pretty funny!

Enjoyed it hugely, best series for a long time so far. Hope they keep it up. Funny, but not forced, informative, fast cars sideways, james may kicked in the plums. Ticked all the boxes.

Agreed.
Good episode.
The funniest bit was when Clarkson and May were bouncing down the street in the red 3 wheeler with 12bhp. Has us in fits of laughter, reminding me of the Peel P1 episode. And then they said it was made in 2003/04!
I think the Chinese "Attack Stig" was bit overdone, in the same was that Family Guy elongates a joke to the point that it's no longer funny.
But otherwise good.

because they are in no way shape or form designed or engineered in britain. It's well documented that they lied about it. Also did you know that MG no longer stands for Morris garage, no, it stands now for Modern Gentleman. Therefore NOT and MG. They should paint them all yellow!
