mine are plasti-dipped, its not too bad... had it on my wheels for about 4 months and the colour is now starting to fade, also if u attempt to clean them it will just peel off!

i'd only use it if its for a couple of months to be honest

Sweet.

Does it ruin the existing paint work web it peels off?

Just wanted it for a few months give me chance to save up for powdercoat. Could always paint again I suppose ?

Will order some me thinks.

Would spraying laquer on them or anythig help to stop the peeling?

edit: did u use their primer or anything or just their spray?

to me it just seems like your spraying it with a paint thats going to peel off in a few months, surely it would be better to just go to halfords and get some paint and laquer if your that bothered about the rims.

thats what i did, it isnt a spot on finish but its good enough for my winter wheels, even had 2 people ask me were i got my alloys sprayed

in my experience, do it cheaply and it peels off, do it the right way and it's a b*stard to get off even with a shot blaster!

vinyl in a aerosol can. its good to see if you like the look of something. ie, you want to see how your wheels look matt black, just spray it on and peel it off! lol

It's also good if you have polished wheels and you want to cover them up for the winter
