I wonder how many retro Golf owners would have hated the new fangled Mk1 GTI in 1976, saying it was sh1t compared to the Austin A30 they were driving around in at the time?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Dear Mods,

Those nasty b@stards outside the mk6 section are calling my car sh1t and other horrible things

Can you please ask them to stop it. Don't they realise I spent nearly £27k on this car and I expect to be treated better when I come on here. Oh, and stop them coming into the mk6 section as well while your about it as we don't want people with lesser Golfs spoiling it for us.

just kidding, now piss off

They're only jealous because they havn't got the balls to saddle themselves with 25K of debt, to enable them to ponce about in a fancy looking car like many Mk6 owners do. (None on this forum obviously) It's a car FFS.

Its just jealously, its not really about the car its the fact they feel inadquate because they are not in the position to be able to waste 20+ grand on a car. :lipsrsealed: :lipsrsealed:
Golfgti build quality is average at best.

We have a winner! Bang on Elvi.

What a stupid, arrogant statement to make.

I have more money than you, so everyone with less money and a difference in opinion must be jealous.

Golf's are tossers cars full stop.  I mean, I'm a bellend, Blue is a cheese piece, Thom you smell of turps, and JV is sooooo stupid he has to get in the passenger side or his car to drive it, douchebag!

I would have a mk6 in a heartbeat, maybe even a Scirocco, but my days of spunking large amounts of cash on new cars is over.  You'll never make money on them, so I don't personally see the point.
