The Surface to Air Missiles,
and all the press and public hype around it, is exactly what the government want. It's acting mainly as a deterrent. However, there will be far far less casualties/deaths by falling debris, than a plane toppling the strand or somewhere similar. And with all the propaganda that these extremists can spout about doing it, getting one up on us Western scum! It'll be our middle finger up to them if we can foil them before they even get to that point though.
