If you like Ginetta's and fancy a seven type car try looking at the Raw Pheonix. I used to love the look of these and think the bodywork looked better in previous incarnations (there has been a fair few versions of the bonnet through its various manufacturers lol) but they are pretty much a 7 with bodywork and a touch extra weight/comfort. http://www.striker-cars.co.uk/?cat=16

i was thinking simler car. once ive found one for sale i can fit in and get in and out of without looking like a muppet engine will be thought about.  quite likely to use a vag or honda lump.    2.0 tfsi westfield       tho to be fair a tweeked k powers them allong very well

On the subject of rover powered cars, have you taken a look at the price of TreVoRs? Shoddilly buil but theres more than enough parts suppliers around and as long as the chassis isnt rotten they can be a blast in that old school fashion.
