thats the 1 i got, seems decent n easy enough to work , do they actually create new fault codes

you have the £36.99 pro one or the cheaper one, i was hoping the dear one might work on my ford galaxy aswell, cheap scanner can only show some stuff on my galaxy that i was given like abs faults i think its knackered hence why i need a new one.

i got this one too, seems ok, does what i wanted it to do, however some of the codes arent in the book, but can be found on the internet easily.

also create new fault codes??  all it can do is read / erase codes.

There will be new codes as software is updated but that will apply to newer cars.
I don't think there will be new codes for the Mk4 as the car would not have the capability to generate the new code...

i meant as in  do vw create new faut codes, i assume this isnt the case for a mk4 as previously stated, just curious, as to why u would want to download new codes
