fans sorted, need help with temp gauge
« on: 25 January 2012, 17:02 »
Hello Chaps,

Right, had the car in the garage and I've replaced my fans. The problem is I was driving the car today for over 25 miles the temperature gauge didn't even get past the half way point between 0-90. The car idles like crap, it died 3 times today and it just feels jerky.

Now after doing a bit of search on here people are saying change the temp sender and thermostat, anyone can point me to some part numbers and good guides on how to do it. Hopefully it's not too expensive

Thanks
Jack

Don't know about fault codes coz I'm living in temp accomodation and my reader is in storage, I might just change the parts and then get a local garage to clear the codes for me. Anyone know up to date prices of these parts???
