Indeed, not sure what is worse, knowing I am 37 this year or the fact I have been doing the same job for 13 years in July. how time flies

almost twice the age of me...

just had to get it in to make you feel a bit better :D

Well I've 312mm at the front, 232mm on the rear still.  I've got EBC discs and pads fitted all round, and the brakes still feel pretty spongy at the best of times.  Brake fluid change made no difference.  Master cylinder was changed about 6 years ago by the previous owner, so should be fine.

May not have been done correctly  :undecided: When was it changed as it should be done every two years because brake fluid absorbs moisture from the atmosphere.

hel get my vote but i have never used goodridge.
The guys at hel were very helpful when i got mine - double checked what lines/fitments and split the kit so i could just get the specific lines i needed.

You may notice a difference by going braided if you flog the brakes but you may also not noice much difference on standard brakes.
The hel lines i have are the rear flexy ones so in themselves made no real difference to my braking performance but seem good quality and fitted. (I got them as originals had been split during some otehr work and decided to uprate for the few £ extra! My fronts are the tarox big brake kit so are braided lines but in no way a comparison for you on braided lines with standard brakes.)
