Upgrade to PPIA fog bulbs
« on: 24 January 2012, 17:36 »
Want to up grade my fogs lads. I have bought some Philips Blue Vision Ultra H7 from http://www.powerbulbs.com for the low beam and waiting for them to come but want to get moving on the Fogs now too. power bulbs dont sell H8 for the fogs or H18 for the high beam.

was looking around a few forums and thinking of getting these. http://www.amazon.com/PIAA-18235-Xtreme-White-Bulb/dp/B002IBRI9K

has anyone changed there fogs out with these or something else and would these show up a error?

I don't know about these bulbs but I know MTEC do H8 bulbs that are similar. http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/mtec-12v-55w-super-white-xenon-bulbs-p-393.html
Neither should show a bulb error as they are both incandescent bulbs rather than LEDs. I rarely use fogs anyway so haven't really looked at bulb upgrades...unless I can get the cornering fogs feature VagCommed. - Anybody near Lichfield?

...arn't the main beam/DRL H15, not H18?
I'd love some whiter H15s but don't think they're made anywhere. Apparantly they are only made my Osram?
These would be nice but nobody knows the retailer
