Interesting.
So you could spend £35k on a Martorell built Audi A3 or £13k on an Ingolstadt built Leon? Hmm.
I'm sure the bigger picture is looking at easy production in the big emerging Far East markets and easy production changes for places like Chattanooga so the factories can easily run on a 3 shift system producing different marques to satisfy local demand.
Hopefully for us Europeans it will mean no more silly 9 month waits for factory builds.
I still don't think we will see a new Golf until the geriatric A3 has been binned off and replaced and all the fuss allowed to settle down with that model.
