Mk7 GTi - First UK deliveries, when?

The mark 7 sounds as if it's going to be a special car, can't wait will defiantly put as order in when it comes out.
Auto Express also has the mark 7 down for 2012

The mk7 may be out towards the end of 2012 but if you want the GTI, then based on VW's usual model launch strategy, the GTI will follow - probably 2nd half 2013 or early 2014

The A3 is out soon (if rumours are to be believed) so expect the Golf not long after with the GTI out next year, they will release it after the XVR and ST

I read somewhere that the mark 7 will be shown to the public in March at a motor show. That would indicate it's ready to roll off the production line later this year. I would expect the GTI to be ready for spring 2013

This is depressing! I haven't even got my MK6 yet and there's all this talk of the MK7.

Always a new model around the corner though.

It would be nice too see a mk7 GTi UK order book open towards the end of the year, but I think it will be early 2013, unless anyone knows different.

Blimey the cabriolet Mk7 is a bit basic.... I guess thats why there be 20-30% cheaper

Looks quite high, cross over concept of some sort is my guess.

It probably is the new Golf... looks like a cross between an audi a3
