Help please - GTI squeals turning right above approx 20mph??

 Pretty much said it all in the title - GTI has just starting making a loud squealing noise when turning right above approx 20mph, no noise when turning left on driving in a straight line. I'm guessing wheel bearing, car has only done 30,000 though?

Any advice appreciated

 Think I might have figured this one out, removed the wheels and did some "tapping around" - a small stone fell out from between the metal guard and disc on the rear wheel
