About to do a little service.....
« on: 22 January 2012, 11:40 »
I'm about to do all my filters and oil and need a bit of info. I've never done a fuel filter before but have been told it is best to fill the new one with new diesel or a diesel treatment to ensure the system won't need bleeding. Is this correct and if so is it best to just use diesel or a diesel treatment?

Old diesel or new diesel? Should I be able to tip it in from the old one if old diesel is ok?

I've never done any of that; remove old filter; stick new filter in and hey presto; fires up first time

Once the engine has struggle to start. Turn the key on and off a few times and it started
