does anybody no if the bora stub axle is the same as the mk4 golf?
if so what do i need to change one?

no i mean stub axle. i thought it was beam but it is more likely to be bent stub axle so i am trying the first.

Thats me lost then never heard of a stub axel, one hasn't broken on my car so don't think they break often... :lipsrsealed: :grin:

I would have thought they were the same accross the 2wd mk4 base? dont know for sure though....!

ok cheers so its wheel off. disc off. undo stub axle bolts. remoce disc gaurd thingy and stub axle.
ok cheers. what are the chances of the wheel bearing falling apart when i take the hub off?

stick a new bearing on. Matter of course if there is axle damage.
