mk2 8v gti 2 door, 1991 red
mk3 8v gti 2 door, 1992 mex red met very dissapointing
corrado 16v 1995 met blue
polo gti 2001 2 door silver.
mk4 1.8T gti 2 door 2000

presently own,

R32, 53 plate deep blue pearl alcantara int.
mk2 8v 4 door 1989. met blue.

thanks guys, been exploring the site and it really is a proper enthusiasts site, been into veedubs for some time now have strayed on a few occasions but always always come back, the mk1 and 2 golfs have just got something very special that you cant quite explain, its when you turn the key in the morning and it just bursts into life, i enjoy every minute behind the wheel of a mk 2, dont get me wrong the 32 is a fantastic car but just different in its own special way.

that is just my opinion of that car, it may be someone else's ideal car i just thought it was underpowered and overweight in standard form. bit of an anticlimax after the mk2. we are all different and choose different cars for different reasons.
