GoodYear ASYM2 is what I have - they are a little slippy until they get heat into them then they are brilliant

Did they come standard with your seattles when you got the car?

agree!

my dunlops are sooooo noisy , wheels spins a lot and rather a harsh ride even with ACC comfort on, but they are very hard wearing apparently so I will be stuck with 'em for a good while

i fitted them to my missus audi a3, 17', her car rides far better now that the Pirellis that were fitted from new

read up the below and you can make an informed choice, have a good look at various autoexpress tyre reviews ont he summer tyre tests

not cheap though but quality costs and i would not scrimp on my gti tyres of it were me!

I can recommend the Goodyears Asymetrics 2. Just had them fitted to my golf after having the Dunlops on which were a harsh noisy ride and also always made me cautious going around corners at anything other than normal speeds in the wet.

The Goodyears I am very pleased with.

Remember though the PS3's only come with 7mm tread compaired to the Bridgestones 9mm tread.  I will be asking that question next time too. Paying £20 a tyre more for 2mm of tread less.

But my PS3s with 7mm tread lasted 2k miles longer than the Dunlops with more tread.

One thing I noticed with the Goodyear Asymmetric 1s compared to the Michelin was that the fuel consumption was 10% worse on the Goodyears, not sure on the Asymmetric 2s as I have never tried them.
