Glass/window replacement companies
« on: 18 January 2012, 07:31 »
Ive been doing a search as im looking to replace all 6 windows in the mk3 but im not coming up with anywhere that will give prices or just an inclination of how much it will cost.
Ive luckily got an Autoglass man round the corner who can fit it all for me(all but 2 are bonded) for beer tokens, but he cant do me glass out the back door.
Im also after the rear window seals(3 door) cant get them from vw but i can all the others.Anybody got a good supplier they can put me in touch with?
I want to keep the original green tint it came out of the factory with too.

Cheers lads.

He said the prices there are astronomical to buy outright

Well,it's just being a bit anal really. It's all well and good having a nice paintjob and a fancy interior(when its finished) but after a full detail there are still some imperfections in the glass which i cant polish out.Plus i think it would set it off nicely especially if i could get the lot for under £400
