I forgot to say, it had FMIC fitted, brembos, mahusive turbo, respray, and a full leather retrim!!

It was dark by the time I got it, but will get pics up ASAP!

weirdly mine was similar, although i transplanted a R32 engine and drive train into mine instead of the big turbo. they even kindly supercharged it while it was there which was nice of them.

is it worth getting my wheels re-aligned once the new shocks and springs have settled down? the front mounts were replaced at the same time, so I am wondering if it makes sense to get this done?

thanks all.

will update with a picture or two once it has had a few weeks for the shocks and springs to settle

I would if I were you. Mine will all be re-alligned before I have the MOT on Tuesday! Because everything is new, it's all over the place!

Will get pics up Monday latest, but personally can't see that it's much lower! :undecided: I know it is though, as I used to fit 4fingers in the arch gap, n now it's 3

I know it will continue to lower, but maybe it's just me being impatient!?

im so glad you said that - i keep looking at mine then my other halts gti-t (standard suspension) and struggling to notice much difference but again measured the same way as you and it definitely is - trick of the eye i suppose

i will see if i can get the car in to be re-aligned when i can - its shouldn't cost too much should it? it normally gets done with new tyres doesn't it?

not yet from me - new alloys picked up today (unfortunately Rich didn't want to swap his anni's for my 15" ones - some people hey!!), so will fit them over the weekend and put up a pic with them on too.

i think I'm happy with the height though - i have noticed its stiffer (although mine was pretty worn anyway). roads are far too bumpy in the sticks where i am.
