hi all few of you prob seen some posts by me thought id better introduce myself.
Euan 26 fae dumfries/aberdeen, had a Mk4 GTI non turbo when i was 18 till it went to bits. had a few other cars since then. 2.5 v6 vectra, 2.0 TFSI special ltd edition A4, 03plate S3, and the last car was a 08 hatchback Impreza STI. due to losing my job and relocating the scooby is up for sale. found myself tryin to choose between a mk1 civic type R and a mk4 golf again. drove the type r and as i dont like ragging the guts off a car felt it wasnt the car for me. looked at a few GT TDI's the 2.8 V6 (ruled that out due to the 460quid tax, which is more than the scooby) but kept going back to looking at the GTI turbo. its got a few issues as some of you are aware, going to try fix them myself before i hand it back to the garage to get them to fix it.
