Want a track car, advice on what to get?

hi Guys, i want a track car as a new project its gota be VAG ;-)

Has any1 got any ideas? sumit tht i can strip down, and kit it out to the max... i have time and a few bob hear and there so yea, just been thinking of how much fun it would be :-D

Thinking MK4, MK2 Golf?

Any ideas u have please let me know, even if its not VAG, Thanks

wouldnt use a mk4, there right fat fatherless sons.
ide proberbly look into a mk2. maybe an old polo bread van

Yeah the mk4 not a good choice handling wise for a track car but the 1.8t engine thats defo what you want for a track car! Mk2 with the 1.8t engine now thats a winner!!

first point - track day and motorsport section is down a few rows V V V V V

second, a standard 16v MkII or for that bit more poke a ABF'd mkII would be more than enough for a first track car IMHO

mk3 8v 5 door in black i would suggest...

funnily enough i have one for sale for not alot of cash :grin:
