what is best engine conv. for classic bettle

Hi guys,

I am buying VW (the bug) 1971 I am planing to do engine swap what VW engines will fit ( I know the Porsch is the best but I need VW)

Iv seen a few turbo 1600's do high 12's 1/4 mile
