it has defanitly been one of those days

go to put my coilovers on, locking wheel nut keys fubard and the back nuts are tight as anything so go and buy some extraction tools and while i was there got some new wheel nuts, put the back coilovers on. i go to loosen the front wheel bolts (which arent in stupidly tight like the backs so i could have used the knakerd locking nut key) a  little so that when we come to do the front its easy to take the wheel nuts off, "weres the key??" i move the axle stands while im looking, and have the door open as im looking in the car, my mate lowers the jack while the axle stand is under the door leaving me with this in my door

thats after we streightend it out as best we can 

continued to look for the key, after a hour or so we still cant find it, and cant get the last bolt out of the extraction tool. so we gave up leaving me with

get home, i park at the top of the drive as my dad needs his car in the morning, go to open door bang, hit the ramp going up to my house, have to climb onto the back seats to get out.

get into the house, realise the locking wheel nut key is in my arm rest compartment.
lots of swearing...

just one of those days mate,i would go looking for a tool i just used seconds ago,start swearing cos i cant find it,then i reach for my pocket to get a fag out and it would be in the same pocket as my fags

my mate had a day like that yesterday... was his fault but he still got annoyed his mum got a new golf just been delivered and he wanted the alloys of it so he swapped them over to his polo and the axle stand slipped and went through the fuel tank which was full at the time

If it is an consolation while changing my cat I dropped 2 ratchets onto my face/head and got a serious case of soot eye!

shats sh!t - if its any consolation i nipped down the road to get some petrol this morning, was driving off the forecourt and BANG! - big back fire and car wouldn't turn over. 2 of the 2p pieces used to plug the un needed injector holes popped out.

8 hours, and half a tube of liquid steel later im home. wish i never got up this morning

the other lessons:
1) dyslexia has nothing to do with what you can and cant do on cars.
2) next time remember were you put the locking wheel nut .
3)dont stand infront of an axle stand thats under your door (with out realising its under the door) when your mate gos to take the jack out from under the car.
