Do you mean the 1.8 Jetta that you were asking about a gearbox for?

Which has a Piersberg Carb set up??

I would hazard a guess at a 16V engine loom with ECU & ISV and 244 relay unit...

Rear of the loom you wouldn't need if its a CE2 (column mounted hazard switch)...

BUT I am only guessing and stand to be corrected by more knowledgeable people on here... RJ is the person to ask IMO

Yes that one but I don't know much at all about coz its my dads atm,

He's looking to sell it so I thort of buying it and if I've gotta taking the engine out to fit a new gearbox I maybe as well drop a new engine in there, so just seeing how much stuff I'd need to change on the car to suit an abf

have a search and look through old posts in the relevant classifieds section. Infact, I think threre is a list in the maintinance section of parts required, by dannyp. Lots of info on here....

Anyway, it may be best to buy a mk3 16v as a complete car, and then you should have everything required. It has the potential to be cost effective if you break/scrap/sell the leftovers.

You will also need a mk2 digi fuel tank, pump and lines if its carb fed at the moment and either convert to hydraulic clutch and cable gearchange or find a mk2 gti gearbox, flywheel and clutch that you are confident is in good condition.. Cheap mk3 donors are surprisingly common if your happy to wait a week or two.
