Just been informed about this - OIL FILTER

Don't know if you guys know already but i didn't, so maybe you lot haven't seen this before either.

Standard oil filter on right

Uprated oil filter, left.



Holds 0.4 litres more oil, and supposedly a better filter inside.

Standard part number - 06A 115 561
Uprated part number - 068 115 561

nice 1 dave ive got pick up pipe to change so will get the uprated oil filter when i do

Nice once I drain out the break in oil ill have to run first ill be getting one of these.

I believe so Rich, i know its a straight fit.

Also used on some A4's i think.

its uprated for longitudinal engines, no need to use it on a golf.

That I think will be a really tight fit.

yeah they scrub on the aircon hose, or might be the PAS.. can't picture it in my head atm, and one of the wires (knock sensor i think, cant recall)
