For what?
Use a fine grit and count your strokes, so that the paint will be even

for my mk4 golf just fitted bora front end which is black, whole car will be sprayed but iam doing abit of prep work my self

unless there is repairs needed you should not need to take the paint all the way back , just need a good 'key' for the new paint.
