Looks like a good base for 100 notes, frame is disc conpatable so I'd say get it, then when you want to upgrade, new forks, wheels (or just hubs) and disc brakes, and it'll feel like a whole new bike.

Cheers bud, I thought that too. I've always been a big fan of GT, good quality cheaper bikes.
Should I be able to fit pretty much any forks at a later date?

Yh there pritty solid frames that ain't gunna rape your wallet. Saying that being only 250 new if your gunna be riding it a lot you want to thange all the drivetrain first

Cheers, would like to consider changing is to that set-up where you have gears at the back, but just the one cog thingy at the front.

Apparently he's about 5;10" and it's just the right size. working on the assumption that being only an inch or two taller won't make much difference

I'd say white dmr v8 pedals, I'm running these and there awesome! Im on the 3rd set (none of them broke, I just wanted different colours lol) and at around £20 very well priced too
