Wheels - Opinions Please

What does everyone think of these? I keep thinking about putting some 19" Talladega on her but cant really afford premium tyres so thought this might be an option as i'm still struggling with the Watkins.

My opinion is, i wouldn't waste my money on either the Talledega's or those as i really like the standard wheels.

Those look dreadful and you need premium tyres on a premium 230 bhp sports car.
Stick to the Watkins or sell the Watkins and tyres for lots of money and buy some premium aftermarket alloy wheels.
I think the Watkins look just fine, they'd look a bit better with 10mm spacers on the rear though.

Don't really like those wheels I'm afraid. Plus, on any car let alone a GTI (which I would be more inclined to drive quickly), I'd be making tyres a priority over alloys.

Have to agree with the others - those wheels are shockers, very poor taste. Can't believe you're thinking of putting them on an ED35.
As mentioned by others, you shouldn't be skimping on tyres either, especially on a performance car. Premium tyres is the only way to travel.

ETTO if you like them put them on, personally I think there are loads of nicer wheels out there which will suit the ED35.  Oz racing do some veery nice ones at a decent price for all 4 corners.

Personally for me you  cannot beat the look of Monza shadows on the GTI and although many people on here loath them I think they are unusual and eyecatching.

All the best

Non premium tyres in my opinion are as good as useless. I have a set of budgets on my Audi 1.9tdi and that doesnt even accelerate in 1st or second if you plant it as the traction control just says 'wtf!?', turn it off and you are just wasting rubber

The entire world is a Money Pit, you just have to pick yours.
